The Best Gift..

Today, I realized that my lifetime has become shorter...So I have to prepare well, as Prophet S.A.W. said: The wisest among you is the one who remembers death the most, and prepares well for it...
I passed by Ilam office initially to collect Microeconomics Text book i bought from a website. Then I found this lovely piece of artwork that I considered as one of the best birthday gifts I have ever had..
It all started with an interview back in 2 years time. Adrienne, a journalist asked my view about Islam during Deen Intensive Retreat, organized by Nawawi Center. To my surprise, she included her interview with me in this great book, which combines all the stories about Muslim, through out New Zealand.
The photo was brilliant, taken by Ans Westra, at Hagley Park..

Cat's Story..

So this is a story about cats at my hometown...
There are 4 of them, 3 of similar patterns and the other resembles its father, i think.
Unfortunately 2 of them were stolen, I don't know who did that..Nevertheless, its really fun playing with them.
I remembered one of Prophet's companion, who likes cat very much. He got the nickname 'Abu Hurairah' which means "The Father of Kittens' as he put a kitten in his shirt and carried it along wherever he went.

Special Entry for Syarifah Najihah Bt Syed Saufi

Last week I paid a visit to abang Saufi's house to see his newly born baby; Syarifah Najihah. She resembles Nadia a lot, especially her eyes and nose... 
Well, these photos were taken while she was in deep slumber...So cute, so innocent...
And these are the photos of Nadia and Arif playing around happily as soon as the saw me!!!... hehe

First Day of The Last Semester
|

Alhamdulillah, I finished my first day today with just two classes; Vibration and Microeconomics. After checking my semester assessment, I found out that I will possibly have 1 final exam out of 5 subjects this semester. That is quite relief for me. But I have to really work hard during the term since most of the major assessments are going to be run before the term break. Hopefully I could make it to the most, inshaAllah.
I just want to share some pics I've taken below. The following two were taken in the flight from Christchurch to Auckland last November...

I'm Leaving On A Jet Plane

Yeah, the time has already come...I'm finally leaving on a jet plane..
Christchurch, here I come, with a spirit highly motivated to achieve my ultimate aim. I'm going further just to get closer, and closer to my goal. It's indeed a very challenging path I'm going to take, but I believe in myself, that nothing is impossible, if I have the guts and thoughts.
May Allah make it easy for me, that's what I have been praying for all the time.
I'm leaving today with a promise to return in 5 months time, to complete my 'deen' as what has been fulfilled by my best-ever friend.

My Best Friend Wedding - Part 2 -

Salam to all...
Another update of my best friend's wedding. These photos were taken at bridegroom's reception located at Gombak, Selangor. Photo session was taken from 12 to 5.30 pm. Everything went smooth, Alhamdulillah.
At this stage, everything has been completed, including the printing. I felt relief seeing them happy upon looking at the final product.

Shah's Wedding

Salam to all..
It has been a while since my last entry. I'm getting irritated with Celcom Broadband I'm using right now. Consistently unstable, makes it really difficult to upload photos. Anyway, in this entry, I would like to share photos of Shah's wedding, taken last weekend.
First of all, I want to congratulate Shah upon 'completing his deen'. Alhamdulillah, all praise is due to Allah. Shah is my best friend, and I already considered him as part of my family, so as he. He is a great person with heaps of respectable personality and qualities. May Allah bless you bountiful of love and happines for both of you, and also your upcoming offspring's'..

A Fresh Start

Salam to all
Happy New Year, may our resolution be fulfilled this year, if not the year before. It's a fresh start for me, since my life path this year is vividly clear in my thinking box right now. I have my aim, which is also a driving force that encourage me to endeavor as much as I can to achieve it.
Having said about life plan, I personally think it's crucial for each of us to have a critical plan so that we know where our life will lead us to. Based on that, all our actions will be target oriented, as we won't waste time on things that deviate us from our aim. The key word here is discipline.
Plan our work, and Work our plan!

End of the year entry

Salam Ma'al Hijrah to all..
1429 H is leaving and 1430 H is coming...What does it mean to us? To me, it indicates that we are nearing 'the last day', and it doesn't mean that we have lived longer, but our life time has become closer to death. This might sound a bit scary, but we have to admit that it is the fact faced by every living thing in this world. We should ask ourselves before being asked later.
This year has been a bright year for me, and I pray that the following year would be even brighter, inshaAllah..
Enough said about that...I just want to continue on sharing about kid's photography entry posted the other day. Well, the cute model was my 3-year-old-niece, Farhatul Ansyara Bt Mohd Helmy. She's a brilliant and a fast learner, although a bit scares of new people she's not familiar with. Nonetheless, I pray that she will grow up as a good Muslimah...
